SWIMATHON Prizes

SWIMATHON Prizes:

The division of proceeds for this year is: 10% Swim Canada/Swim NS, 45% DCSC and 45% towards your MFC! The coaches are hoping that we will have a big push this year, but please do not register for the fundraiser, unless you intend to raise money.

We have three main prizes this year:

Highest Fundraiser : $1000 off next year’s fees
Early Bird Prize: first 10 Families to fundraise over $300 – name is entered in a draw for no volunteer points next season
TOP Squad : Pizza party (or equivalent social event) for the entire squad that raises the most amount of money

Swim Canada distributes individual and team prizes too; average per registered swimmer is a National Team member visit prize that we have won in the recent past. (Think we can do it again?). For more information visit: SWIM CANADA SWIMATHON

Here are the SQUAD standings after WEEK 1:

FUN 3 – 7 fundraisers for a total of $967.50
BLUE – 6 fundraisers for a total of $952.50
GOLD – 3 fundraisers for a total of $485
Senior – 2 fundraisers for a total of $250
FUN 2 – 3 fundraisers for a total of $230
JUNIOR - 1 fundraiser for a total of $175

Congratulations to Olivia/Ellie Cormier and Rebecca/Abigail Harrison, our first two families to raise over $300 – they are entered into our Early Bird Draw! We have 4 more families approaching that number as well – so get a move on everyone!
