Swim Nova Scotia Open Water Summer Races:
Swim Nova Scotia Open Water 1 is an optional race for swimmers. Entry and attendance for athletes is not done in association with DCSC however you are able to represent the club at the event. Please read carefully from Swim Nova Scotia regarding registration
Join us on Thursday July 18th at Long Lake for our first open water race! Online registration is now available until Monday July 15th: click here to enter
Registration will close on Monday July 15th (no on-site registration) at 11:59pm Atlantic Standard Time.
Race start times:
- 6:00pm 5km Start
- 6:05pm 3km Start
- 6:10pm 1km Start
8:00pm Course Cut-off (all competitors must be out of the water)
Check-In: 5:00-5:30pm
Safety Briefing: 5:40pm
Race Distances: 1km (All Ages), 3km (13 & Over) and 5km swims (13 & Over) – ages as of event day
Fees: $20.00 Swim NS Members, $25.00 Non-Members (registration includes limited membership with Swim NS). Payment: e-transfer swimming@sportnovascotia.ca and use the password ‘swimming’
