Seeking a Volunteer for Treasurer Position

Hi Crusader families!

We hope you were able to enjoy the nice weather this weekend.
We are currently looking for dedicated and detail-oriented individual to volunteer for the position of Treasurer. As Treasurer, you will play a crucial role in managing our finances, maintaining accurate
records, and ensuring the financial health of our organization. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the Club, and work with a strong supporting cast. The Treasurer a Board Executive position and so this role carries with it 8 volunteer points towards your volunteer commitment.
Responsibilities:

• Responsible to administer the financial affairs of the club
• Supervision and preparation of accounts and budgets
• Receiving and disbursement of monies (including MFC and PP)
• Prepares of all financial statements and reports to the Board (with the assistance of our bookkeeper)
• Organizes the annual audit
• Oversees the assistant treasurer and our bookkeeper
• Chairs the Finance Committee

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to attend monthly meetings
