Hello DCSC Families,

The countdown to the 2024-2025 season is on and I can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the pool!

I am excited to be returning to the club for my second season. We have some exciting events planned for this year including travel meets, and swimmer education sessions that touch on injury prevention, nutrition, and mental preparation. We also have the 2025 Summer Canada Games to look forward to. Stay tuned for more details this Fall!

Here are the season start dates:

  • Senior start date September 9th
  • Full club start date September 16th

You can view the Swim Nova Scotia Competition schedule here, and the club events schedule can be viewed on our website. Changes to our schedule will be communicated in advance.

I have been working hard with our staff to provide a strong training program for each group. We will continue to develop athletes that are well rounded and have the confidence to swim every stroke. Our swimmers will develop competency in racing both the individual events, medley’s and distance. DCSC has produced strong medley and distance swimmers, and we are going to continue to represent in these events. Our staff is also very excited to meet you, and I am thrilled to introduce our lead coaches. Look out for a welcome email in the next week from your lead coach.
