Just a reminder that the updated attire for finals will come into effect at this meet: officials in the following positions at sanctioned age group competitions with prelims and finals will transition from wearing royal blue to red polos during finals:
Referee
Starter
Stroke Judge
Inspector of Turns
Chief Timer
Please note that the red polos will only be required during finals. All officials will continue to wear white polos during prelims, and timers will also wear white polos or t-shirts for both prelims and finals. For meets that are timed finals, all officials and timers will continue to wear white tops.
Officials have the option to wear any red polo they prefer, provided it has minimal branding. We encourage officials to order their own red polos through Swimming Canada’s online portal: https://swimmingcanada.secure-decoration.com/page/official-s-polos Please allow up to four weeks for delivery. Swim NS will not have any red polos in stock.
For support signing up as an official contact competitions@dartmouthcrusaders.ca and a reminder that you will receive volunteer points for officiating.
